All Gatwick Flight Arrivals To Go Over Tunbridge Wells

Coming soon to the airspace above your homes in Tunbridge Wells- up to 250 aircraft every day and night, below 4000ft for 266 days a year unless we do something about it now.

Gatwick is expanding and irrespective of building a second runway they plan to have ALL Easterly arrivals flights in narrow corridors above us on a ‘SUPERHIGHWAY’. See Gatwick’s  map here with villages added:

The arrivals map states there will be 35+ arrivals but this is disingenuous. The reality will mean 200+ arrivals day & night. We think this is an unfair burden on our area.

Respond to the consultation before it ends, if you can understand it, even some of the industry ‘experts’ find it complicated :

COME TO OUR AVIATION EVENING TO SHARE ADVICE AND INFORMATION – Bidborough village hall on Tuesday 15th July, 7-10pm. It will be an informal drop-in style event. WE HAVE UNTIL AUGUST 14TH TO RESPOND TO THIS 2ND PUBLIC CONSULTATION AND FIGHT THE PROPOSALS.

Or write to Greg Clark MP or your local political representative.

You can also email BEAG for more information and support during the campaign for fairer treatment of residents and businesses of Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and all of Kent cagne.east@gmail.com

We think #gatwicksbigenough!!!
